RSSOwl ist ein kostenloser RSS / RDF / Atom Newsreader in Java, mit SWT als schneller Grafik-Bibliothek. Das Programm läuft auf Win, Linux, Mac und Solaris. Einige der Features sind Export von Nachrichten nach PDF, Import / Export mit OPML, sowie Volltextsuche. Zum einfachen Ausführen gibt es eine Exe für Windows, ein Shell-Skript für Linux / Solaris und die Mac Version kommt mit einem Application Bundle. Viele Beispielfeeds sind schon eingetragen.
